Late Night Talk: Music, Grief, Faith, & Women – Michael Decon x Myke Hideous

EP643

Michael Decon & Myke Hideous return for another unpredictable late night episode packed with underground music war stories, dark humor, and unapologetic cultural commentary.

Myke looks back on his years in the music scene from touring in England and navigating the pub culture to spending lunch breaks on costly 1990s long distance calls, mailing press kits, and trying to book shows up and down the East Coast. The two dig into the less glamorous side of keeping a band alive: unreliable bandmates, canceled plans, difficult venues, financial strain, and the exhaustion that eventually drives many musicians out of the game.

The conversation then takes a more serious turn as Michael and Myke discuss the Lindsay Clancy trial, public reactions to cases involving alleged violence against children, postpartum mental health debates, and the unsettling rise of social media content built around emotional breakdowns and performative outrage.
